(AP) – Two graduates of the Colorado School of Mines are giving back to their school. The college says Bonanza Creek Energy Inc. co-founder Mike Starzer and Patty Starzer have committed $5 million to support scholarships for undergraduate students at Colorado School of Mines. Patty Starzer said in a written statement Tuesday that the engineering education she and her husband got at Mines provided the starting block for their careers and business ventures.
