DENVER (AP) — State health activists are meeting to discuss what Colorado needs to do now that the election is over and new federal requirements are a certainty.
Democratic state lawmakers and advocates for the new law plan to talk Wednesday about where Colorado stands on implementing the law.
Colorado unsuccessfully challenged the federal health care overhaul in court, but state officials also set up an insurance exchange and took other steps to comply with the law.
The daylong meeting in Denver is sponsored by the Colorado Consumer Health Initiative.
